Event Details

The Blue & White Camp will host players in three groups (2007 through 2009, 2010, and 2012) at Penn State University.  Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn transferable-to-game skills from professional coaches at a variety of higher levels. The Camp will host a maximum of 76 players per group and generally consists of players from all over North America (Maximum player to coach ratio of 6:1 for all skills sessions). 
 
Camp includes: 
  • Four skills sessions (Team and position-specific variety, 60 min each)
    • Lead instructors are current NCAA Div 1, AHL, and other professional coaches or front-office staff
    • Assistant coaches are a combination of Prime Hockey staff, Junior coaches and Bishop Kearney Selects staff
    • Counselors are current Penn State Hockey players
    • 3+ instructors on the ice per session
    • Most sessions will include a goalie instructor
  • 3 full-ice games (3 X 15 Minute stop time)
    • 2010s are full contact
    • 2012s are non-contact
  • Classroom / Lectures (2022 lecture topics below)
    • Special teams concepts
    • Hockey Academies & Preparation for Higher Levels
  • Blue & White camp jersey & socks
