Event Details
Prime Hockey is hosting evaluations in Metro Detroit this December! Evaluations are for players interested in Prime Hockey Spring programming for the following:
- HHOF Future Legends (2013 - 2011 Birth Years)
- World Youth Championships in Prague (2011 - 2009)
- Maize and Blue Camp (2011 & 2009)
- Blue & White Camp (2012 & 2010)
- Salt Lake Showcase (2012 & 2011)
- Prime Spring Teams (2013 - 2009)
Players attending will compete in 3 scrimmage games coached by Prime Hockey staff and local evaluators.
Although our coaches and scouts attend games throughout the season, it can be difficult to see every team play. Our evaluations ensure that you will receive an extended view by our staff for consideration in our programs.
Please note that this skate is intended for stronger AAA players and requires approval to participate.
Evaluation Camp Inclusions:
- 3 Scrimmage Games (3x20 Minute run-time periods)
- 1 Team Video session
- Teams are coached by non-parent hockey professionals
- Players evaluated for World Youth Championships, our Elite Camps at NCAA Div I Universities, the Salt Lake Showcase plus other exclusive Prime Hockey Programming
- Evaluation Jersey

FAQ
How does my son get invited to a Prime / Invite-only event?
Participants for our Prime teams (tours & tournaments) and other individual entry events are selected by our coaches and staff. In most cases, players are scouted in person and invited to participate in our programs. We also use feedback from our Spring coaches to determine player invitations for the following Spring/Summer. If you would like your child to be considered, please fill out the Inquiry form.
What is your cancellation policy?
My child would love to attend a tournament, but doesn’t have a team. Can they still play?
For some events, we are able to accept “free agents'' and place an individual on a Participating Team’s roster. Please reach out to the Tournament Director for the event you’re interested in to see if there is an open spot! Their contact information can be found directly on the Tournament Details page.
I’m not sure which event is right for me. Can I talk to someone to help recommend the right one?
